The SEC East might be the sloppiest division of any Conference in the nation. Who Wins? You're guess is as good as mine. I'm going to go with Kentucky Wildcats coming out of nowhere to win it all. They looked good against AU and were able to beat South Carolina. South Carolina has been a mystery this season. Get beat by AU, but then beat #1 Alabama to only lose to unranked Kentucky. Are they good, are they bad? Who knows. Georgia has looked terrible for the most part this year. However, they are still in it for the East Crown. Florida was beat by both Alabama and LSU from the West. However, they could still win the East with wins over USC and Georgia. Vanderbuilt is even in the race. They are tied with USC for the least number of losses at 2 each. They play each other. Wouldn't that be crazy? USC vs Vanderbuilt for the SEC East. We aren't going to include Tennessee because they have no in-conference wins. However, they could still theoretically win the EAST. SEC EAST STANDINGS: CONF OVERALL South Carolina 2-2 4-2 Florida 2-3 4-3 Georgia 2-3 3-4 Vanderbilt 1-2 2-4 Kentucky 1-3 4-3 Tennessee 0-3 2-4 Who Wins the SEC EAST?
Nine weeks into the 2011 NFL Season, the Philadelphia Eagles find themselves with three wins and six losses, and are currently third in the NFC East. Typically, nine or ten wins is enough for a team to make the playoffs. The Eagles have the following games left on their scheduleSun, Nov 20 @ New York Giants (6-3, 1st in NFC East)Sun, Nov 27 vs New England Patriots (6-3, 1st in AFC East)Thu, Dec 1 @ Seattle Seahawks (3-6, 2nd in NFC West)Sun, Dec 11 @ Miami Dolphins (2-7, 4th in AFC East)Sun, Dec 18 vs New York Jets (5-4, 2nd in AFC East)Sat, Dec 24 @ Dallas Cowboys (5-4, 2nd in NFC East)Sun, Jan 1 vs Washington Redskins (3-6, 3rd in NFC East)With that schedule left to play, Will the Philadelphia Eagles make the playoffs?
The Big East is having a really off year. They don't have a single team in the BCS top 25. People are starting to really debate whether they should be given an automatic birth to a BCS game. I don't agree with that, however, requiring conferences to have a team in the Top 25 seems like a reasonable requirement. This would just place a requirement on the automatic bid...make a conference earn it each year. What do you think? Should the Big East lose its automatic bid or should all conferences be required their Champion to finish in the Top 25 to get an automatic bid?
Each year, as fans we wait anxiously to see how good the new crop of freshman players our team has recruited will turn out. Who do you think will be the freshman phenom in the Big East?
We have Benjamin Netanyahu on our show discussing the Middle East peace process. Efforts are being made to reopen the dialogue with Palestine. Can Obama be the President that finally facilitates a lasting truce?
Should the U.S. remove their troops from the Middle East?
The Big East may be the premier college basketball conference, but it absolutely stinks in college football. Last season, a Big East team got to go to a BCS game even though no teams in the Big East were in the final BCS Top 25. This year, only the West Virginia Mountaineers are currently ranked, and they are only the 23rd best team in the nation. In my opinion this is undeserving of a BCS Bowl Game and allowing them to go is rewarding mediocrity. Next year, the Big East will lose WVU, the Pittsburgh Panthers, and the Syracuse Orange because they are leaving the conference to join the Big 12 (WVU) and the ACC (Pitt and Syracuse). Once the Mountaineers and Panthers leave the conference, the Big East will no longer have any tradition or history of great football. It will be a conference made up of second and third class teams.I obviously think they should lose their automatic bid already, and I don't think I really need to spend too much time explaining my argument because most people, including the media, agree with me. If you disagree, then please let me know why in the comments below.Should the Big East lose its automatic bid to a BCS Bowl Game?
Who do you think is the best college football player in the Big East for the 2010 season?
Three of the final status issues in the Palestinian and Israeli Peace Process are Settlement building, borders, and the city of Jerusalem. Israel has chosen to not extend the "settlement freeze" and allow settlers to begin colonization of more Palestinian West Bank and East Jerusalem Land. This effects all three of those issues: Borders: building new settlements on Palestinian land and thus altering its course by placing "facts on the ground" Settlements: one of the main final status issues is the issue of Israeli settlements, in itself; obviously building more will flame the conflict Jerusalem: many of the planned settlement projects are in Palestinian East Jerusalem; in other words, settlers intend to colonize East Jerusalem During a recent celebration, hundreds of Israeli settlers are releasing 2,000 balloons to mark the number of new settlements already planned and ready to build on Palestinian land. King Abdullah of Jordan was recently on John Stewart. Jordan is one of America's biggest allies in the Arab Middle East and is also one of only two Arab and Muslim countries with normalized relations with Israel. He attended a meeting on the Peace Process in DC last week and stated on Stewart that the parties will leave the table if settlements were not frozen by Israel. He also stated this would lead to War by the end of the year. Does Israel want peace or more land? Positions of parties in the Peace Process: Palestinian: There can be no peace process if Israel is colonizing more Palestinian land. US: President Obama asked Netanyahu to stop building them because it would be an impediment and could possibly end the peace process. Israel: is not extending the settlement freeze and Netanyahu urged settlers to "use restraint" in their projects.
President Obama decided to take it easy this weekend by playing a leisurely game of golf, Despite the fact that Qaddafi's troops are gaining strength against the rebels, while the world waits for the U.S. to decide whether to join calls for a no-fly zone. If Qaddafi maintains power, a momentous opportunity for freedom in the Middle East will have been lost.In the Far East, Japan nuclear reactors are on the verge of melting down, while it's people suffer the loss and devastation wrought by last week's earthquake and Tsunami. Should the President of the United States take time off for recreation during major international crises?

According to all people involved in the Middle East Peace Process, the only just solution to a peace between the Palestinians and Israelis depends on a Palestinian State in the pre-1967 borders. For some reason, Republicans across the board disagree with it. Here are their statements:Mitt Romney claims Obama's Middle East vision "threw Israel under the bus" giving a victory to the Palestinians before the negotiations get started. He also says "It is disrespectful of Israel for America to dictate negotiating terms to our ally."Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich calls President Obama's speech "the most dangerous speech ever made by an American president for the survival of Israel."Rick Santorium on Obama's Middle East Speech states "The current administration needs to come to terms with its confused and dangerous foreign policy soon, as clarity and security are the necessary conditions of any serious and coherent American set of policiesThe current administration needs to come to terms with its confused and dangerous foreign policy soon, as clarity and security are the necessary conditions of any serious and coherent American set of policies."Tim Pawlenty on the Obama Speech concerning Palestinian-Israeli Conflict: "The city of Jerusalem must never be re-divided. At this time of upheaval in the Middle East, it's never been more important for America to stand strong for Israel and for a united Jerusalem"Michelle Bachman calls Obama decision over pre-1967 borders "a shocking display of betrayal" to the Israelis. "Today President Barack Obama has again indicated that his policy towards Israel is to blame Israel first."Sarah Palin left Obama a message via twitter: "Dear Mr. President, please allow our ally, PM Netanyahu, to respectfully arrive through the front door this time. Thanks, Concerned Americans"
