U of O has tons of talent and one of the best coaches in college football. We also have La Michael James! If you're a fan of the Ducks you're a fan of LaMichael. He continues to break records and set firsts for the Ducks. LaMichael is Oregon's first football player to win a major college award, the Doak Walker. He has scored the most points in a season with 22 touchdowns, 132 points. He's tied for the most 100 yard games in a season. Furthermore, James has rushed for 100 yards in more games in his career than any other Duck in history. Needless to say, he's leaving his mark on Oregon Duck history. He has one more big game ahead of him, The BCS National Championship Game vs the Auburn Tigers--the first time in U of O history to be playing for a title. We can count on LaMichael James to help lead the Ducks to victory. The Auburn Rush Defense has been extraordinary this season. The Tigers are ranked 10th Nationally in Rush Defense and 2nd in the SEC giving up only 111.69 yards per game on the ground. The unit is ranked 22nd for Tackles for Loss and 20th for Sacks in the nation. However, the Tigers Defense does give up points and is ranked 54th in the nation giving up nearly 25 points per game. I'm going to add more information concerning the Tigers Defense shortly....what backs they faced and how good they did against their D and so forth. But for now, vote on how many yards he'll get against Auburn on January 10th in Glendale, AZ!Go Ducks!LaMichael James Season Statistics:1,851 total yards and 22 TD'sLaMichael James Season Rushing Statistics: 281 rushing attempts; 1,682 rushing yards; 6.0 yard average per rushing attempt; 76 yard long and 21 TD'sLaMichael James Season Receiving Statistics: 13 pass receptions for 169 yards and 1 TDGame Statistics:
Personally, I don't think so...lol. Of course I'm biased, but my bias is supported by facts. Both of them are great players. What Cameron Newton has been able to accomplish since he's been at Auburn is without a doubt special and he belongs in New York for the Heisman Trophy Ceremony. However, I feel LaMichael has accomplished a lot more in two fewer games. He missed one and the Ducks have had a bye week and Auburn has not. Note: to be fair in comparing the rushing statistics, Cam Newton did not attempt a single rush in Auburn's game against Louisiana Monroe. Statistics: LaMichael James vs Cameron Newton Cameron Newton Rushing Statistics 157 rushing attempts; 1,077 yards rushing; 6.9 yard average per carry; 71 yard long; 14 TD's Total Passing Statistics90 pass completions; 138 pass attempts; 1364 passing yards; 65.2% completion percentage; 9.88 yards per pass attempt; 13 touchdowns; 5 interceptions; 172.1 passer rating LaMichael James Rushing Statistics134 rushing attempts; 971 yards rushing; 7.2 yard average per carry; 76 yard long; 11 TD's Receiving Statistics 4 receptions; 121 yards receiving; 30.3 yard average per reception; 84 yard long; 1 TD Cam Newton has so far been more of a running QB than a passing QB. Once they have played an equal number of games, LaBoom is going to fly by his rushing statistics. Cam has played nearly every quarter of every game, and LaMichael has sat out and been rested in the second half in many games because the Ducks were blowing out their opponent. If he played all four quarters and as many games as Cam his Heisman resume, I mean LaHeisman's resume, would be more impressive than Cam Newton's! LaHeisman is easily the most electrifying and exciting player to watch in College Football. Each time he gets the ball he's a threat to take it to the house! Go Ducks!Should LaMichael James be ahead of Cam Newton in the Heisman Race?
Oregon Ducks running back LaMichael James had a huge game against the Stanford Cardinal. He had 20 carries for 146 yards, 7.3 yard average, 3 touchdowns, and a long of 58. After the Ducks loss to the LSU Tigers, James name hasn't really been mentioned in the Heisman Trophy race. He has, however, rushed for 1207 yards and 12 touchdowns, and is currently ranked 6th in total rushing yards even though he has missed two games due to injury. After his performance against Stanford, is he back in the Heisman Trophy race?
Last year, the U of O Ducks picked up one of the nations top RB recruits when they signed Lache Seastrunk. I have high hopes for Seastrunk this year, and I expect to see him have an impact freshman year. He'll be behind LaMichael James so he won't be carrying the load, but rather will be used from time to time for James to rest and as a change of pace. Seastrunk is fast as can be. Personally, I can't wait to get to watch him this year in Autzen. So, what do you think? Will Lache Seastrunk have an impact as a freshman RB?

The same can be said about the Oregon Ducks...if they plan on winning their first national title, then James must have a great game.Who has the better game?
It was in Cleveland where Lebron James mastered his signature Pre-Game Powder Toss Ritual. James uses it as a way to interact with his fans and put on a show for them. It really pumps and gets the crowd into the game.He is entering a much different Quicken Loans Arena than the one he last stepped away from. The Cavs fans and people here adored their homegrown super star. But, James broke their heart and never delivered the Champioinship he promised. The Fans are not going to Welcome James with a Welcome Home Party. They are pissed and have been raging for months. Performing his Pre-Game Ritual could send them into a frenzy of anger. Should Lebron James do his Ceremonial Pre-Game Powder Toss in Cleveland?
Heisman Trophy Hopeful, LaMichael James, has been the Oregon Ducks most explosive weapon this season accounting for over 30% of the total offense. James leads the nation in rushing with an average of 170.4 yards per game and is tied in second place for punt returns with an average of 19.33 yards per return. He has already accounted for 1,148 yards and touchdowns. This weekend against the Arizona State Sun Devils, however, the Ducks will have to play without James after he suffered an elbow injury in Oregon's last game versus Cal. The injury is not season ending, but we do know he can't play against ASU Saturday. The Ducks have great depth at the running back position with Kenjon Barner and De'Anthony Thomas, who are both already major contributors to the Ducks offense. They will need them and quarterback Darron Thomas to fill James shoes. ASU's defense is not terrible, but hasn't been great either this season:Arizona State Defensive StatisticsTotal Defense: 41; 349.00 yards given up per gameRush Defense: ranked 40; 119.67 yards rushing given up per gamePass Defense: ranked 75; 229.33 yards passing given up per gameScoring Defense: ranked 24; 19.50 points given up per gameVontaze Burfict is a player the Ducks will need to know where he is located on the field at all times...and I would say AVOID HIM! The guy has been a beast so far this season with 29 tackles, 4 sacks, and an interception. The linebacker will be looking to wreck havoc in the Ducks backfield, and is capable of doing so if not accounted for by the offensive line. The Sun Devils offense is led by six foot eight quarterback Brock Osweiler. For the season, Osweiler has completed 142/213 passes (66.7 CMP%) for 1,677 yards, thirteen touchdowns, and six interceptions. He also scored two more touchdowns on the ground. The leading rusher for ASU is Cameron Marshall with 102 carries for 420 yards and eight touchdowns. Their leading receivers are Gerell Robinson and Aaron Pflugrad with 26 catches each. The Ducks defense has been shaky after losing so many players from last year:Oregon Ducks Defensive StatisticsTotal Defense: 83; 404.60 yards given up per gameRush Defense: ranked 86; 173.80 yards rushing given up per gamePass Defense: ranked 76; 230.80 yards passing given up per gameScoring Defense: ranked 45; 22.60 points given up per gameASU's offense can score points and are averaging 35.33 a game. The Ducks defense will have to step up and get off the field. They can't just expect the offense to be able to outscore the Sun Devils. The offense is going to be great, but without James they won't be as explosive. Barner and Thomas are absolutely great players, but they neither have the experience nor can they carry the leadership role of James. Autzen Stadium in Eugene, OR at night - Thomas Boyd/The OregonianCurrently, the Ducks are favored to win by sixteen points. The game is in Autzen Stadium at night and I feel confident Barner and Thomas will fill in the void just fine in this game, but I don't think the Ducks can cover the spread without James. He means to much to this team. Can the Ducks win without LaMichael James?
The USC Trojans quarterback, Matt Barkley, recently led his team over the Oregon Ducks in Eugene, OR. The win knocked the Ducks out of the BCS National Championship hunt. It also eliminated LaMichael James' chances of winning the Heisman Trophy Award. Barkley, however, has not regularly been in the Heisman Trophy discussion. The following are his season statistics:Matt Barkley Season StatisticsPassing Statistics: 273 pass completions; 404 passing attempts; 3105 yards; 67.6 completion percentage; 7.69 yards per attempt, 82 yard long; 33 touchdowns; 7 interceptions Barkley has his Trojans 9-2 with only one game left in the season. I think he should be a candidate. In my opinion, he is the best pocket-passer in the nation...yes, I believe he is better than Andrew Luck. However, what do you think? Is Matt Barkley a Heisman Trophy Candidate?
Kobe isn't in this conversation because he is the greatest for his generation. It seems as though the media has already anointed James the "King" of the NBA for his generation. But is he? Or is Durant the better player? I don't think it's as clear cut as the media tries to paint it. What do you think? Durant v James, Who's Better?

Should Pastor James from Gainesville, Florida burn the Quran's? The picture attached depicts him in front of a sign that states "Islam of the Devil." He does not hide his feelings concerning Muslims and Islam. What do you think, Should Pastor James burn Quran's?
Who refers to themselves by their nickname? Did MIKE ever refer to himself as Air Jordan? I doubt it. So how lame is it for him to refer to himself as King James?
I just heard that Jesse James is getting married again. Jesse James and Sandra Bullock were recently divorced over his adultery. Within a years time his marriage broke up, he divorced Sandra, dated another woman and got in engaged to her. Wow!This is trashy. I hate when people get divorced and are engaged two seconds later. Have some respect for your previous spouse. Although, Jesse didn't respect Sandra when they were married...so why start now. Jesse James seems to know how to make a trashy thing even trashier. In his obnxious statement to People magazine Jesse states, "You know sometimes the public and press gets it wrong. This is one of those times. 2010 was actually the best year of my life because I fell in love with my best friend. An amazing woman who stood behind me when the world turned their backs. I have never met anyone so kind and loving and committed to making the world a better place every day. My love for her is beyond description. So honored that she said 'yes.' Growing old with her is going to be a f----n' blast!" That's a passive agressive statement if I've ever seen one! It's obviously directed at his ex-wife....mean! I'm not happy for Jesse James' engagement. Are you happy for Jesse James and Kate Von D?
Since Lebron James made his nationally televised announcement to leave the Cleveland Cavaliers, he has lost a lot of support from NBA fans. Whether its for being disloyal to his hometown or the pompous child-like stage presentation of the "Big 3" described by Charles Barkley as looking "like a bunch of idiots jumping around a stage," Lebron's favorability ratings have even dropped below the belittled Tiger Woods. He recently released a commercial in an attempt to gain some sympathy from fans to his disposition and to start restoring his reputation. Will he be able to do it? Can Lebron James ever restore his reputation
