The controversy of inter-relationships is a thing of the past, and the idea of not allowing someone to marry another person based on race is no longer acceptable in our society. However, the show PAN AM is based in the 1960's, and in the recent episode, Laura Cameron's date is beat up for being a black man dating a white woman. That was the norm in those days. If you had lived in that era would you have the courage to love anyone you wanted even if it could result in harm?

It has been obvious for PAN AM followers Ted Vanderway is in love with Laura Cameron. Ted doesn't try to hide it. During President Kennedy's speech he reached for hand and later on attempted to kiss her. He is also constantly getting involved in different situations to help her out.

Laura, on the other hand, has been resisting Ted's passes. The show has been leading the audience to believe she is not interested. However, in the latest episode, there seems to be a change in her attitude towards him. During the episode, Laura is harassed by the Captain filling in for Dean as he takes Colette on a date to meet his family.During the flight, the Captain pats her on her bottom and then asks her to lean in over him to clean the flight's instrument panel. As she does that, he attempts to look down her blouse. She catches him and then knocks coffee all over him but acts as though it is an accident.

After the plane lands, the Captain wants to speak with Laura to let her know he would be reporting her for spilling the coffee on him. While he scolding her, Ted steps in and once again saves her. She doesn't know what Ted says to the Captain, but agrees to return the favor for Ted. He quickly asks her to interrupt a date he has with a girl his family set up.

While Laura waits at the bar of where Ted is having his date for the right time to disrupt it, she runs into the Captain. The Captain tells her the reason he didn't report her is because Ted said she was his girl and that she was the smartest, hardest worker, and best woman he had ever met. When she hears this, it becomes clear she has a change of heart for Ted. However, when she attempts to break up the date, Ted is gone.

Towards the end of the show, somebody pulls the fire alarm and everyone is running out of the hotel and restaurant. During this episode, Laura sees Ted leaving his room with his date. From the look of her face, the audience can assume she was hurt by what she saw. She now has feelings towards him, but he hit it off with his old girlfriend.

As it is right now, we just know he was perhaps having a one night stand with the girl. This doesn't preclude any possible future between he and Laura.

In Episode 7 of Season 5 of The Big Bang Theory, Leonard ended his long distance relationship to Priya after they find out they both cheated on each other. During Leonard's entire relationship with Priya, Penny is jealous. Initially, she couldn't believe Leonard had already moved on, and she never does the same choosing to remain single. She seems to always be hanging around Leonard's friends and their girlfriends. In my opinion, it is clear she not only did not move on, but that she does not want to move on.

In Episode 9 of Season 5, Leonard and Penny hang out alone for the first time since breaking up. Penny asks Leonard to join her to a movie, but initially he resists. However, he agrees after Penny tells him "it's not a date Leonard. It's just a man and a woman hanging out and not having sex at the end of the night."

For the first time ever, Leonard actually takes control of an evening with Penny. He makes her go to the movie he wants to see and he makes her pay her own way. He used to go to movies she wanted to see so she would have sex with him at the end of the night, but since sex is "off-the-table" he doesn't see any reason to not choose the film he wants to see.

After the movie, they hang out in a cafe/bar setting. While there, Leonard makes a point of letting Penny know they aren't on a date. Therefore, Penny starts talking to a random guy and discusses the science based movie she just watched with Leonard with her new friend. Leonard becomes jealous, and declares he will do the same and find someone to hit on.

Shortly thereafter, he begins talking to a girl named Laura about the things he likes to do, which includes a list of activities he used to do with Penny. Penny ends her conversation with the random fellow she was talking to and disrupts Leonard. She begins telling Laura embarrassing secrets about Leonard such as how he has two Star Trek costumes that he wears on days other than Halloween, how half of his porn is animated, and how he has a "lucky" inhaler. Leonard argues with Penny and starts calling her out for her shortcomings as well. They go back and forth and end up forgetting about Laura. Penny eventually tells Leonard to take her home, and when he turns to address Laura she is gone.

When they get back to the apartment, Penny says how she really enjoyed the "take charge Leonard with a little backbone. Picking the movie, knowing what he wants, and a little cocky." Also, the random guy Penny was talking to at the cafe is eerily similar to Leonard. As Penny puts it, the guy was cute in his "dorky t-shirt and hipster glasses," which just so happens to be exactly what Leonard was wearing and almost always is wearing. Though the sexual tension could be cut with a butter knife in the hallway of their apartments, they both go home alone.

Though they didn't "hookup," does it appear Penny still loves Leonard?

Ted’s gone through a handful of girlfriends in the course of his story about how he met the mother of his children. If this were a question about which girl he’s dated that fans like best, I bet Robin would be at the top of the list because she’s a regular cast member and the most well-developed character he’s dated. But I want to know which couple you liked best.

Ted and Karen, played by Laura Prepon, his pretentious, cheating college girlfriend? Ted and Victoria, the baker Ted met at Marshall and Lily’s wedding, who moved to Germany? Or Ted and Robin, with whom he messed up his chances twice, first by blurting “I love you” on their first date, then by trying to get with her before he had actually broken up with Victoria? Ted and Stella, played by Scrubs alum Sarah Chalke, the doctor who removed Ted’s tramp stamp then left him at the alter? Or Ted and Zoey, his current girlfriend, former wife of The Captain? They started out hating each other because Ted was working on the demolition of a historic building Zoey petitioned to save.

In perusing message boards and comment threads about HIMYM, I’ve seen that all these couplings have their fans. Some people are holding out hope that Victoria will be revealed as the mother. Fans of Sarah Chalke liked her time on the show, and I did find Stella the most likeable and well-developed of the women he’s dated. I’m not a fan of Zoey, but I’m sure she has some admirers. I do love Laura Prepon, and her role as Karen was consistently funny and hit the right notes. Still, Ted’s a self-absorbed boyfriend, and I think the only woman he genuinely loved was Robin, although I prefer her to be with Barney. I think I’m going with that paring. What do you think?

There has been a lot of controversy involving Cameron (Cam) Newton this season. "Pay for Play" and Academic Dishonesty claims have been made in the media targeting Newton. However, he continues to play and be declared eligible by the Auburn Tigers. If he is eligible when Voter's have to turn in their Ballots for the Heisman Trophy, should that be enough for them to include him?

We just witnessed Reggie Bush having to give back his Heisman after  it was stripped retrospectively because he was declared ineligible. There are worries this could happen again. Are worries enough to not include Cam Newton on the ballot?

Another issue is whether it is worse to leave off an innocent Cam Newton or to have to strip the title from him? What do you think? Should Voter's include Newton on their ballots if he is eligible.

It's been awhile (over two months, but who's counting except for some fans) since Iowa picked up a football commitment, but that was remedied Tuesday afternoon with the verbal pledge of Dublin (Ohio) wide receiver Cameron Wilson.

"Well, I've been putting a lot of thought into it the past few months and especially this last week, and I just felt like Iowa has everything that I wanted in a school so I didn't have to look any further." Wilson told HawkeyeReport.com. "Iowa was the right place for me, so I decided to commit."

The 6-foot-2, 190-pound receiver selected Iowa over Boston College, Illinois, Purdue and Pitt. After visiting Iowa City and touring campus a few times during the spring, Wilson just felt at home with the Hawkeyes and comfortable enough to commit.

"I really liked the football atmosphere," he said. "We were there for the spring scrimmage and it was a really cold day, but they still had a lot of fans there cheering for them. The coaches, the players, and everyone treated me really well and I just enjoyed it there."

Wilson is the second commit for Iowa's recruiting class of 2012. He hauled in 77 catches for more than 1,000 yards and eight touchdowns for Jerome High School last season.

In the last few episodes of PAN AM, Kate Cameron is trying to get out of the CIA. In the recent episode, she attempts to refuse an assignment, but is threatened with losing her job. She is told, however, that if she completes a final task she can get out.

Her final task is to deliver a cigarette case with a hidden compartment with a hidden list. After she delivers the cigarette case, she learns her job is not over yet. Her next task is to help the CIA break into a safe in a jewelry store to swap out the list in the cigarette case with a list in a safe.

She goes with the CIA and tries on jewelry. After finding a diamond bracelet she likes, the clerk agrees to deliver it fitted to her hotel that evening. When the clerk shows up to the hotel, the CIA attempts to sneak into the jewelry shop and swap the lists. However, things at the hotel go wrong. Somebody pulls the fire alarm and the clerk becomes nervous and tells Kate she must pick up the bracelet with the check from his shop.

When the clerk returns to his shop, he gets in a scuffle with the CIA. During the fight a gun is knocked down the steps and in front of Kate, who had followed the clerk back to the store. The clerk pulls out a knife on the CIA and Kate shoots him. She is told to run and this is where the episode ends.

She was told this would be the last job she had to do, however, now she is guilty of murder. The CIA seems against letting her out anyways, but will this secure their secret PAN AM agent?

Personally, I don't think so...lol. Of course I'm biased, but my bias is supported by facts.
Both of them are great players.

What Cameron Newton has been able to accomplish since he's been at Auburn is without a doubt special and he belongs in New York for the Heisman Trophy Ceremony.

However, I feel LaMichael has accomplished a lot more in two fewer games. He missed one and the Ducks have had a bye week and Auburn has not.

Note: to be fair in comparing the rushing statistics, Cam Newton did not attempt a single rush in Auburn's game against Louisiana Monroe.

Statistics: LaMichael James vs Cameron Newton

Cameron Newton

Rushing Statistics
157 rushing attempts; 1,077 yards rushing; 6.9 yard average per carry; 71 yard long; 14 TD's

Total Passing Statistics
90 pass completions; 138 pass attempts; 1364 passing yards; 65.2% completion percentage; 9.88 yards per pass attempt; 13 touchdowns; 5 interceptions; 172.1 passer rating

LaMichael James

Rushing Statistics
134 rushing attempts; 971 yards rushing; 7.2 yard average per carry; 76 yard long; 11 TD's

Receiving Statistics
4 receptions; 121 yards receiving; 30.3 yard average per reception; 84 yard long; 1 TD

Cam Newton has so far been more of a running QB than a passing QB. Once they have played an equal number of games, LaBoom is going to fly by his rushing statistics. Cam has played nearly every quarter of every game, and LaMichael has sat out and been rested in the second half in many games because the Ducks were blowing out their opponent. If he played all four quarters and as many games as Cam his Heisman resume, I mean LaHeisman's resume, would be more impressive than Cam Newton's!

LaHeisman is easily the most electrifying and exciting player to watch in College Football. Each time he gets the ball he's a threat to take it to the house! Go Ducks!

Should LaMichael James be ahead of Cam Newton in the Heisman Race?

The two quarterbacks that seem to be at the top of most people's 2011 NFL Draft Boards is Blaine Gabbert for the Missouri Tigers and the 2010 Heisman Trophy Winner, Cameron (Cam) Newton, from Auburn University.

Both quarterbacks were under the radar prior to the 2010 season, but shot up analysts draft boards after putting up impressive numbers. Gabbert has more experience than Newton having started two seasons as the Missouri QB, while Newton was a one-year wander for the Auburn Tigers.

Skills Advantage: Newton or Gabbert
Armstrength: Advantage Newton

Accuracy: Advantage Newton by the numbers, but from viewing film I believe the Advantage is Gabbert

Running Ability: Advantage Newton

Experience: Tie - Newton played in hands down the toughest conference and against the best in the nation but for only one year. Gabbert played two years against lessor opponents.

Intangibles: Advantage Gabbert....too many off the field issues with Newton

Leadership: Advantage Newton on the field, Gabbert off the field

I can't really say I love either of the two, but if I had to take one with a high first round pick I would take Newton. I choose him because of the "what if" factor. He could end up amazing and revolutionize the quarterback position in the NFL, but he also could end up a bust.

What do you think?
