Arrested Development, the acclaimed Fox sitcom that ran from late 2003 to early 2006, has been rumored to be picked up again as a TV show since its cancellation. Some recent interviews suggest that the project really is moving forward, but even producer Ron Howard said "I'm a little bit like all the rest of the fans, I'll believe it when I'll see it" but that "I actually do think that it'll come to pass." In 2009 Jason Bateman spoke of writer Mitchell Hurwitz working on the script, saying he was "half-way through." We're hearing the same story now in 2011, with Batemen echoing the same remarks at the end of this May (just a few weeks ago.) but call overly me optimistic, I think we're closer to an actual film than ever. IMDB has a page for the movie, and that site slates its release for 2012. Oh, and don't take the attached image as certain proof of its production; it's a fan-made poster found on Livejournal. The names listed there -- the original cast -- hopefully aren't too far off, as many of the actors have said they'd be interested in doing a movie. So what do you think? Is it happening?
