Representative Paul Ryan (R-WI), House Budget Committee Chair, unveiled the The Path to Prosperity Restoring America's Promise which outlines the proposed 2012 GOP Budget Plan which is estimated to lead to $6.2 Trillion in spending cuts over a ten year period. Ryan argues the GOP Budget Plan will "limit government growth and give it to the states."

Paul Ryan is bold for submitting his plan but naive to think that the public would go for it. The middle class and poor have not seen any growth in our financials which in my opinion amounts to a tax increase inflicted on us by corporations. We have had our share of health care and other benefits increased while corporate contributions have declined which amounts to a pay decrease all while they make record profits. While the government can sometimes be burdensome, we must undersatand that the same political forces that we contend with in government are the same forces that exist in the workplace and without balance we are the ones who suffer. The problem i have with Paul Ryan and the republicans is that they are making concerted efforts to decrease the liability of the wealthy while forcing the middle class and poor to pick up the tab. The thing that bothers me is how all of the resources that are being used to enrich the upper class really belong to the citizens of the United States and without the will of the people and the manpower behind their operations, these corporations would not exist and without purchasing power the public cannot consume their products and/or services. In a capitalist society people are \"ALLOWED\" to become wealthy, it is not ordained. If you want to invest the time, energy, expertise and resources into developing a business model you are permitted to do so. If more people understood this fundamental principle there would be more fairness in our society. We have come a long way from the days of pioneering where people tract over land to find opportunities and planted their roots in unsettled land, staked claim to mines or developed trade; but we will only be as fruitful as our forebearers if we can see the wisdom in their vision. I haven\'t had time to review President Obama\'s plan yet but I can guess that it will be as partisan as the Ryan plan from the other end of the spectrum. We need true courage, truth, honesty, understanding and a sincere willingness to work together to solve the issues facing our nation. More people need to follow politics and get involved in the process of self governence......
