Who's excited for season 13? I....am. Alright, it's not easy to own up to the fact that I've never watched ABC's Dancing With the Stars (in fact, I had mostly forgot ABC existed as a network) and am wholly disinterested in DWTS' premise. Having said that, this season's exceptionally motley crew of celebs, with the rare stand-out like Chaz Bono, is just fascinating enough to make me consider converting or at least DVR-ing the first episode to gawk guiltily. The lame list, leaked today, includes:
- Notorious CNN newshound Nancy Grace
- MTV socialite Kristin Cavalleri, from The Hills
- Former talk show host, and the original Tracy Turnblad in 1988's Hairspray, Ricki Lake
- Vocalist for the 80's pop group Wilson Phillips and The Mamas & The Papas lovechild Chynna Phillips
- Hope Solis*
- Model Elizabetta Canalis looked like she'd go the distance after three years with the consummate bachelor George Clooney, but the two split this summer
- Actor and husband to Courtney Cox, David Arquette
- Reality TV personality from a little-known famous family, Rob Kardashian
- 70's actor and longtime lover of Farrah Fawcett, Ryan O’Neal, who is also the father of actress Tatum
- Soap opera actor and retired soldier, J.R. Martinez
- Transgendered son of Sonny & Cher, political advocate and personality, Chaz Bono
- L.A. Lakers playe,r Ron Artest
