The NCAA should revisit the stipend rules for the amount of spending money that is given to college athletes. These kids are not allowed to work and are given close to nothing to live off of.

I understand that they are given scholarships, but with the amount of money being made on them by the Universities, they should at least give them enough money to live a normal social life...see a movie, take a girlfriend on a date, etc.

They don't need to be given much - maybe around $250 a month in discretionary spending. Bottom line, if you expect them to play by the rules, then you have to give them enough to live like any other college kid.  Am I Right?
