Returning house guests are banding together on Big Brother 13, as Rachel Reilly puts it “The veterans are here and they’re here to stay.” With the new golden ticket twist to nominations the first HOH of the season, Rachel, says she must be careful which duo she puts up on the block because the person who gets the ticket will probably make it to the jury house, no one will really know how they can compete and eventually, he or she will know everything that is going on in the house. She decided to put Keith Henderson and Porsche Briggs up this week. You can almost see these two thinking they have a better chance at staying over the other because their different secret alliances. As Rachel and the veterans align themselves and add Porches to their team, the newbies have a good idea to form an alliance out of one member of each newbie duo. This means Keith has a good chance at staying in BB house, because of his participation in the self proclaimed and unfortunately named alliance called “the regulators.” Which house guest should be voted out first, Keith or Porsche?
The video attached is the AshleyMadison.com Super Bowl Advertisement Banned By Fox. The network stated "Standards & Practices has deemed the Ashley Madison spot is not acceptable to air on FOX." Presumably, it is because of the sexual nature of the commercial, however, there are some saying Fox is banning it because of what is being advertised.AshleyMadison.com is a place for married people to go on the internet if they are looking or want to have an affair on their spouse. The site even gives a guarantee a client will have an affair after becoming a member. Some say Fox is banning the commercial because this is what AshleyMadison.com is and not for the actual content of the commercial.Should Fox have banned Ashleymadison.com Super Bowl Ad? What if they did so not because of the commercial itself, but rather because of the nature of the website?
This one was easy...Emma Stone from "Easy 'A'" lit up the runway in her peach colored Calvin Klein gown. The dress radiated elegance in its simplicity and sexiness in its silhouette fit. Stone arrived with her recently dyed blonde hair for her upcoming role in "Spider-Man." It was pulled back and added another touch of class to her look. Her outfit made her cute, sexy, elegant, and classy all at once. Stone is my choice for the hottest dressed actress at the 2011 Golden Globes. In the video attached below, you see Palin addresing her daughter, Willow's, use of the term of the term "Faggot" in a Facebook rant. The following is the text of Palin's response to Sean Hannity in the Video (Link: Palin Interview):People probably think that my greatest frustration is the lies that are told in the tabloids and on hateful blogs full of anonymous sources about my family … and there are constant everyday lies that we have to read that are out there in the public. But my family and I…thick skin…we can take it, you know…we can take what the haters say despite the fact that there’s injustice in the situation.I mean, look at the other day. Willow, finally, my 16 year old, she had had it up to here with somebody saying very, very hateful things about the family and saying mean things about her little brother Trig, and Willow finally responded and she used a bad word when she responded in defense of her family. And her response became national news, even hard news copy it turned into, so that’s ridiculous and I had to explain to her, “Willow, there is no justice here but you have to just zip your lip and let’s move forward.”The most troubling aspect from Palin's comments is the dismissal of the use of the slur "Faggot." She doesn't even condemn its use. Instead she provides an apologetic argument..she tries to give excuses for why Willow was justified for her rant. She makes it sound as though Willow is the victim and her response was typical and normal for others in the similar situation. In the following Palin statement, "Willow finally responded and she used a bad word when she responded in defense of her family. And her response became national news, even hard news copy it turned into, so that’s ridiculous and I had to explain to her, 'Willow, there is no justice here but you have to just zip your lip and let’s move forward," she tries to merely downplay the hateful significance of the term "faggot" as her daughter being guilty of merely saying a bad word in defense of her family. She even states that she had to explain to Willow that "there is no justice here but you have to just zip your lip and let's move forward."The way Palin is chatting in this interview, it is as though she doesn't realize that people record her and that she says some of the most crazy and clueless things I have heard in my life...I can't wait to see a female VP or P, but I will never vote for a ticket with that short-sited, hate-filled, and unaccomplished bigot on it. Palin's tone even suggests she is proud of her daughter for defending their family even though she used that hateful term. It doesn't even seem to register in her mind that Willow said a very hateful slur. The term "Faggot" isn't just another swear word like "asshole." It is a very discriminating and hateful way to refer to a segment of our society.

The United States Government believes there are some things that should not be known by the public. Information concerning National Security and International Diplomacy are amongst the topics the Government makes Classified and unavailable to the public. The Government argues the public is protected by keeping such information safe. Documents are Classified for the public good.Julian Assange (head of wikileaks) thinks transparency and making information available best serves the public good. He believes all information should be available. His argument hinges on the belief that a non-transparent government will serve itself and not the interest of the people. In his view, the Government becomes Authoritarian when it hides information and such is harmful for its subjects. Who's Right? The Us Government or Julian Assange
Recently, 3 soldiers were caught and arrested on second degree burglary in Colorado Springs, CO after accidentally locking themselves into a Colorado Medical Marijuana Dispensary. The three soldiers claim they broke into the dispensary to steal and burn the marijuana to destroy it. Do you believe the soldiers? Were they just "Being All They Can Be" and helping the War on Drugs in America? Or do you believe they were going to enjoy burning the marijuana they were attempting to steal?
In Cologne, Germany the marketing campaign of two businessman targets the "Gay" community by selling what they call "Gay-Friendly Coffins" decorated with nude images and rainbows. As a member of the "Gay" Community, I see no reason for the need of our "own" coffins. If a person would like to have their coffin decorated one way or the other, then they should request it. However, I rather just be treated and have marketing campaigns target me like everyone else. I'm not special, I'm just gay.
A recent publication, Minimum wage is worth less than in 1968, states "[a]djusted for inflation, the minimum wage was worth $8.54 per hour in 1968, according to calculations by the Economic Policy Institute. The current minimum wage is $7.25 per hour." This means the minimum wage of today is worth $1.29 less per hour what would it be in 1968. With this in mind, the following estimated losses in spending power holds true: $10.32 a day$51.60 a week$206.40 in a four week, 20 working day monthFor the working class, that live check to check, $200 a month is a lot of money. Should the Federal Minimum Wage be Adjusted to take into account spending power?
MSNBC has suspended two of its pundits, Joe Scarborough and Keith Olberman, for making campaign donations. The news organization views making such contributions brings into question the impartiality of their pundits. Should Political News Pundits Be Allowed to make Campaign Contributions?
Joe Scarborough is the 2nd MSNBC personality to be suspended for making campaign donations. The first was Keith Olberman. MSNBC's policy reads "Anyone working for NBC News who takes part in civic or other outside activities may find that these activities jeopardize his or her standing as an impartial journalist because they may create the appearance of a conflict of interest." And campaign donations are interpreted to be such activity as to render a journalist impartiality to be questioned. Is it a fair policy for MSNBC to not allow their political pundits to donate to campaigns?
