The San Francisco 49ers are the biggest surprise of the 2011 NFL. They are currently 10-2 and in 1st place of the NFC West. They have also already clinched a playoff berth. The 49ers have without a doubt been a great team this season, but the question is whether they will be able to continue to impress through the NFL playoffs when everything is on the line in single elimination games. Will the San Francisco 49ers win in the NFL Playoffs?
Tim Tebow has arguably been the most highly criticized quarterback in the history of the National Football League. Pundits have repeatedly dismissed him as incapable of leading a football team in the NFL. What has Tebow done in response? Proven them wrong. In his seven starts this season, Tebow has led the Denver Broncos to a 6-1 record and they are now in contention for the playoffs. His style of play is anything but conventional, however, he is getting the job done. Most importantly, he is getting it done when the game is on the line. His run-pass threat might be the most dominant weapon with two minutes left in a game the NFL has ever seen. Now that Tebow has proven the doubters wrong by winning as the Broncos quarterback, they say he can't win a playoff game. What do you think? Can the Denver Broncos win a playoff game with Tim Tebow?
As the #1 overall pick for the Carolina Panthers in the 2011 NFL Draft, Cam Newton is in a quarterback battle with Jimmy Clausen not only over who will be the starter but also over the #2 jersey. Both Newton and Clausen have worn the #2 jersey throughout their career, and Clausen currently lays claim to the number for the Panthers. In Cam Newton: Jersey Number Irrelevant, ESPN reports "'I really don't care. It's just a number to me,'" Newton told NFL.com, according to a report on profootballtalk.com. "'Gossip sells, and I understand that with people hearing I wore No. 2 in college, and Jimmy [Clausen] has it right now, [but] it's not a big deal to me. I just want to get that out of the way and throw it out there. It's not the number. It's the person wearing it.'"However, the speculation continues. What do you think? Will Cam Newton get Jimmy Clausen's #2 Jersey?
In the 2011 NFL Draft, the Carolina Panthers selected Cameron (Cam) Newton with the #1 overall pick. Last season, Newton won the Heisman Trophy Award and led the Auburn Tigers to their first BCS National Championship and second overall championship. After the first week of training camp, the Associated Press article Newton Winning Over Carolina Fans reports:Cam Newton put on a show for the more than 15,000 Carolina Panthers fans who braved threatening weather Saturday to get a glimpse of the rookie quarterback at the team's annual Fan Fest at Bank of America Stadium. The No. 1 overall pick looked extremely comfortable in his new home stadium, making short work of a two-minute drill on offense by throwing a 70-yard touchdown pass to tight end Gary Barnidge and then adding a 65-yard scoring strike to David Clowney later on.It capped an impressive first week for Newton, who led Auburn to a national championship last year and won the Heisman Trophy. Earlier in training camp, coach Ron Rivera was asked his impressions of Newton and responded, "Wow!" Fans seemed to have the same reaction Saturday, giving Newton a hero's welcome. Many view him as the savior for an offense that finished last in the league in scoring, total offense and passing yards in 2010However, in the 2010 NFL Draft, the Carolina Panthers also chose a quarterback...Jimmy Clausen from the Notre Dame Fighting Irish as the 48th overall draft pick in the 2nd Round. In 2010, Clausen started 10 games, winning one and losing nine in his rookie season. Concerning the Panthers selection of Newton as the #1 overall pick, the Charlotte Observer reports "while Clausen has been gracious in welcoming Newton via Twitter and a personal text message, the second-year quarterback from Notre Dame indicated he's not planning to simply hand over his...his position."The Observer continues on the Panthers QB controversy: The thinking on Clausen when he left Notre Dame after his junior year was he would be NFL-ready, having played in Charlie Weis' pro-style system. But Clausen slipped to the second round, then went 1-9 as a starter his rookie season. He threw three touchdowns and nine interceptions, and finished as the league's lowest-rated passer. The Panthers decided they needed another quarterback of the future. But they apparently aren't ready to cast Clausen aside, yet - or at least they're not telling Clausen if that is the plan..."I talked to some coaches and Marty and they said they want me on this team and they're going to give me the opportunity to compete," Clausen said. "That's all I can ask for is a chance to compete. It's going to be fun working with Cam and just competing each and every day."It is clear there is going to be a QB battle throughout training camp and most likely throughout the season. Cam Newton vs Jimmy Clausen Who do you think should be starting QB for the Carolina Panthers in 2011?

Brett Favre was recently busted in the media for sending sexting messages to Jen Sterger. Which of her pictures below is the sexiest?
Jen Sterger claims Brett Favre sent her "sexting" pictures of his "junk." Quite a sleazy accusation if you ask me. Whether he did or not is none of my business. However, I don't think I would have cheated on Deanna Favre for Sterger. How about you? Would you pull a Favre on your wife for Jen Sterger?
The NFL is rigorously investigating Brett Favre for allegedly sending inappropriate messages and photos to a Jets employee. Favre is married and has already had a similar situation like this occur earlier in his career. His wife forgave him for his first incident. 3 years ago, she wrote a book about his womanizing and how she threatened to leave him for it. She even had her bags packed. He promised her he would change and he supposedly had, but obviously this was not the case. Will Favre be distracted by the NFL investigation into his conduct?
