Edna remained safe tonight on Survivor due to the pack she made with Coach.  He recognized her ability to be loyal early on in the game and aligned himself with her.  She recognized his game strength and leadership and saw that a pack with him was smart.  She couldn’t have been more wise.

Brandon worried that Edna acts too sweet and might be playing them - that just sounded paranoid, but ultimately, he sided with Coach. Albert and Sophia took the opposing side and saw their opportunity to control more of the game if Mikayla remained in their tribe.  The argument that keeping a tribe tight and strong seems to have lead to a division within this tribe.  Bottomline, Coach says he feels Edna is loyal, Albert thinks she is out to play them and Rick is left in the middle.  Brandon calls that a house divided.

In the end, Mikayla is the sixth person voted out of Survivor South Pacific.  She thinks she left because she is a  strong woman and “You know crazy Brandon.”  Who was more deserving of Redemption Island Mikayla or Edna?

It was elimination # 5 night on Dancing with the Stars and finally we had a deserving contestant ousted.  The early exits of Kristin Cavallari and Chynna Phillips made it clear you need fans even more than talent to move on in this competition.  Carson Kressley relied heavily on pizzazz rather than technique and it could only take him so far.  Despite being one of the most beloved contestants he lacked the talent to persevere and most likely less fans than the remaining celeb dancers.

Carson received a score of 19 for the performance that sunk him.  He and Anna Trebunskaya tried to improve their standing from week 4 by doing a jive to “Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go”  He and Anna dressed as cheerleaders and used pom poms. Unfortunately, Carson did a cartwheel but very few jive movements.  Carrie Ann told him he lacked content and technique.

Do you agree that Carson Kressley should be sent home?

I never thought Ricki Lake would be able to tango into American hearts on this season's Dancing with the Stars. She says she's not a quitter even though rehearsals take a lot out of her.  It's very confusing for me," said Ricki. "I'm not getting it. I want to quit.  But I'm not a quitter."  Obviously she isn't a quitter.  Carrie Ann Inaba got it right when she stated "Brilliance in the ballroom. Done." Scores:10,9,10 = 29

Foxtrotting to the Pink Panther Theme, J.R. Martinez was touted by Len Goodman as the best male dancer of the night!"  He has become a crowd favorite and they defended him tonight when Carrie Ann criticized him as being "a little flat." Scores: 8,9,9 = 26

Rob Kardashian did his best Clark Kent impersonation doing the paso doble to the theme from "Superman." Len teased that he was "like a waiter giving out bons bons."  But Bruno Tonioli commented on his musicality and his moves.  Scores: 8,8,8, = 24

Hope Solo made a cute Jessie from Toy Story as she danced the foxtrot with Woody - Maksim Chmerkovskiy. Bruno loved it and Carrie Ann was all smiles. Scores: 8,8,8 =24

David Arquette danced the dramatic paso doble to the Raiders of the Lost Ark.  Bruno and the crowd adored it and Carrie Ann remark about him showing a new strength and charisma. Scores: 8,7,8 = 23

Nancy Grace should listen to the judges and try to connect with the audience better.  She had a stiff performance tonight and didn't receive any compliments from the judges. Scores: 7,7,7, = 21

Chynna Phillips never did get in sync while dancing the tango to the theme of Mission Impossible.  Len acknowledged that she panic and made lots of mistakes. Chynna agreed and had no explanation but said "It just completely threw me." Scores: 7,7,7 = 21

Chaz Bono went all out dancing the paso doble to Rocky with his mom Cher looking on in the audience.  Len told him it was his best dance to date.  Carrie Ann loved it and said it was magic.  Scores: 7,7,7 = 21

Carson Kressley danced to The Curse of the Black Pearl dressed as a pirate with a stuffed parrot on top of his hat and a fake beard.  The dance lacked technique but it was fun to watch.  The crowd booed at one point when Len critiqued him saying there was "no quality of movement." Scores: 7,6,7 =20

A lot of people are calling Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries' wedding the "American Royal Wedding." Kris and Kim are reality stars that arranged to have a 'real' but edited version of their wedding televised.  In contrast, William and Kate's royal wedding was a classic "Grace Kelly' elegant but live TV affair.

Everything about this wedding was super sized in true Kasdashian style, especially the media blitz.  It was so big it was as blinding as Kim's 'Perfect' 20.5 Carat Diamond Engagement Ring! 450 guests attended at a lavish estate in Montecito, California last August.

Leading up to the wedding we were treated to the typical Kardashian drama and bickering on "Keeping Up With The Kardashians".  Last episode I watched Kim didn't want any negative energy at her wedding so she was threatening to disinvite her family.  Yeah, right!

The media's given us lots of sneak peaks into their wedding details already.  We've seen the cake, the dresses (she wore three custom made Vera Wang's), the venue, even guest gifts and all their interpersonal 'suffering'.  We know Kim expressed sadness that her late father was not there to walk her down the aisle, but luckily, her step father, Bruce Jenner was able to step in. With so much info already out there some might think the scope of this wedding is just too frivolous to watch.  But not me!  I like over the top reality TV.  How about you?  Will you be watching Kim Kardashian's 'Fairytale Wedding'?

Over the last few weeks I've noticed that the two tribes on 'Survivor South Pacific' consist of some members that mirror each other in personality disorders and others that contrast from each other.  On this week's episode, Savaii member, Jim seemed paranoid about Elyse and Ozzy developing a close relationship.  He was afraid their bond would mess up his plans of voting the women off when they get down to their alliance of five.  At Upolu, Jim's much more extreme paranoid mirror image, Brandon needs to lighten up.  He's busy apologizing to as many people as he can for the problems he created as a result of his paranoia .  Mikayla, an Upolu, was astute in pointing out that Brandon's problems would be solved if he would just think before he spoke- she's a smart common sense type.  In contrast, Dawn,a Savaii, was just starting to wonder if some of the people in Savaii might be in an alliance.  Edna, from Upolu, is the nervous one in that tribe and Cochran from Savaii takes that role on for them.  We are more alike than we want to be sometimes, and at the same time we are all different.  If you could choose, which tribe would you want to be in?

Survivor South Pacific is not only a game of physical endurance and striving to play the game until the end, but it’s also a game of surviving your own emotional upheavals and those of the other contestants.  We watched the Upolu Tribe deal with Brandon’s (Hantz) outbursts.  We listened to his weird comments directed to the cameras as he struggled to make sense of his own behavior.  At one point he declared “I struggle everyday, good, evil, good, evil and I really want to be good!”  Coach (Albert Destrade) worried about his outbursts because they cause an “unevenness in the tribe.”  He pointed out that Brandon’s outbursts are different than his uncle, Russell’s (Hantz), but they are outbursts non-the-less.  Sophie Clarke commented about the tension between Brandon and Mikayla Wingle, “In Biblical terms he’d probably call her the whore of Babylon.”  She summed it up further by saying, “Right now he is torn between following his crazy religious beliefs and his devious blood lines.”

Christine Shields Markoski made clear her resentment that Coach targeted her for what I call an attack comment she directed at him when she first saw him.  It was something about Coach being on the island only temporarily.  I never did understand why she didn’t think she deserved negative treatment from Coach.

When Papa Bear (Mark-Antony Caruso) figured out his tribe was going to eliminate him he scrambled around pretending to find the immunity idol, but sadly he wasn’t very believable.  Elyse Umemoto told other Savaii Tribal members “ When has Papa Bear ever sprinted anywhere?”

John Cochran told cameras that he thinks most people view Redemption Island as a chance to get back into the game but he sees it as just extended failure and more depression.

Do you think Survivor is more a game of emotional survival than physical survival?
