im concluded that nothing sells like fear and that will be his strategy this week on “Survivor: South Pacific.”  He said that Ozzie, fellow Savaii member, tipped his hand when he revealed that if he was Coach he would get rid of Albert, one of the stronger players in the Upalu tribe.  Jim connected the dots and decided that if Ozzie was reasoning like that for Coach he would eventually reason that way himself.  It’s fear planting time and that means it’s time to remind Keith about what Ozzie said earlier. Jim thinks it is time to boot Elyse and it takes no time convincing Keith.  Keith is wary of booting Elyse by blindsiding Ozzie and wonders what trouble will come.  Cochran announces “I don’t care if Ozzie thinks we are all against him.  We are all against him.”Tribal council vote is in and Elyse is out.  There wasn’t the solidarity in the vote that was hoped for -Whitney and Keith voted for Dawn.   Elyse was totally surprised and warned that the trust has been lost forever.  I think this was the most entertaining episode of Survivor so far this season.  There was Stacey’s determination to call Coach “Benjamin” which was really silly, there was the pig spitting contest which was gross, There was Brandon crying about being judged as a Hantz and calls it “prejudiced” and Coach praying and finding the immunity idol just as he asked for.  Was blindsiding Ozzie with Elyse’s elimination smart or stupid?

Jeff Schroeder:  “I’m pissed a clown shoe decided my fate for a half million dollars.”

Shelly Moore: (To Rachel) “I can give you my past, present and future diamond ring.”  (To cameras) “This a duplicate of that ring - it’s a cubic zirconia.”

Rachel Reilly #2: “Shelly look, I’m engaged, I know rings and girl your ring is not worth a half a million dollars.”

Brendon Villegas; From the Jury house:  “Daniele (Donato) is melting him (Jeff) with her laser eye beams.”

Which quote is your favorite?

They are both brunettes, tan and look hot in swimsuits.  This season on the Bachelor Pad, two of the prettier former contestants of the Bachelor are back competing for love and a cash prize.  This season It's Gia Allemand, a swimsuit model and the house sweet heart vs Michelle Money, a hair stylist, single mom and Bachelor Pad bad girl.  Who is hotter?

With Brendon Villegas in the Big Brother house, Rachel Reilly (Brenchel) is a bully, she’s aggressive, overly confident, flirty and dramatic.  She cries to Brendon and acts pouty.  All the time we see her in makeup - lots of make up.

Without Brendon in the house, Rachel is bitchy, aggressive, immature, lacks confidence, acts hateful and cries a lot in her bed-under the covers. She wears no make up at all.

Who is the most annoying Rachel or Brenchel?

Jennifer Lopez opened up to Vanity Fair about the end of her seven year marriage to Marc Antony.   She may have opened up, but really only cracked the door for us a little bit.  She said, “I love myself enough to walk away.” Adding, “I will always respect Marc as a singer and performer.  We actually work great together, and he always was supportive.”   This quote doesn’t tell us much on the surface, but there’s a lot of unspoken implications.  She said she respects him as a singer and performer, but what about as a person, a husband and a father? She said she walked away because she “loves herself enough.”  That implies he was hard on her in some unrevealed way or she might just be very narcissistic and got tired of him.  Whatever the reason, I hate interviews that imply so much more than they say.   The thing that really got to me was when she said, “He will always be in our lives....”  She should have said that they will always be in each others lives for the children’s sake.   The way she said it sounds as if she will allow him to be a visitor in their children’s lives.  I doubt he will ever hold any special place in her heart even if she says he will “as the father of my children.”  Maybe she should have said as the father of our children.   That would have sounded less narcissistic.

Did you like Jennifer Lopez’s interview?

The season premiere of Big Brother 13 just ended and the show is off to a good start.  We were introduced to eight new contestants to the shows.  The new contestants promise to fill this season with lots of drama because they are people we will love, hate or love to hate.  Here's a rundown of the new cast....

Dominic: From first appearances, I think I will enjoy this "momma's boy."  He seems to have a good sense of humor and intelligent game play.
Lawon: A real show boater who will either entertain me or annoy the hell out of me! We will wait to see what side of the line he will end up on.
Shelley:  A southern outdoor momma that could be a dark horse threat.
Porsche:  A Cocktail waitress that seems to think the world is jealous of her job and her beauty.
Adam:  Is he a walking contradiction or is he breaking stereo-types?  He is a huge Beverly Hills 90210 fan and at the same time loves heavy metal.
Keith: The church deacon that lied about being a church deacon.
Cassi: She is a beautiful model and I've got a feeling she will do well on this show.
Kalia:  The dating blogger that declared herself to be like Carrie Bradshaw.

These new cast members are not the only ones fighting for the half a million dollars.  Six returning Big Brother contestants will make up three duos all willing to fight like crazy for the prize again this season.

The returning cast members are....

Rachel and Brendan:  This newly engaged couple from Big Brother 12 is about as annoying as they are a duo threat. Sadly, I think they will be here for awhile.

Jeff and Jordan: They're America's Big Brother favorite couple and I couldn't be happier that this Big Brother 11 duo is back.

Evil Dick and Danielle:  This father/daughter partnership is just as endearing as they were on Big Brother 8...not very.  I have to say I think they're dynamic and will do well.  Overall, I think this was a good "couple" to invite for a return run.

Are you happy with the three returning duos?

The Bachelorette Ashley Hebert was eager to tell the guys that she has put her feelings for Bentley Williams behind her.  She stated off by telling JP Rosenbaum first on their one on one date then at the cocktail party she shared the "good news" with the guys. JP took the news patiently, but the reaction from the group of bachelors was mixed.  Some were obviously hurt and irritated and some accepting and sympathetic.

Two of the pissed guys:
Lucas Daniels said to Ashley "It's weird to me, I'm glad you got closure but we're putting a lot on the line as well. Mickey McLean told Ashley just before leaving "I told you the one thing that's very important to me is honesty and I felt that you lied to us.....I know I have serious questions and it's leading me to question why I'm here...I don't see what you saw in that guy."

Two Ashley fans:
JP Rosenbaum told the cameras "The guys are not happy she was selfless and honest.  But it's real life and people get upset.  I hope that she's OK."
Ryan Parks told the cameras "Some of the guys are really upset about this.  If you don't want to be here go home.  I want to be here."

So what side did you take?  Do you agree with JP Rosenbaum and Ryan Park or Lucas Daniels and Mickey McLean?

Remember when Ashley Hebert ruined her chances with Brad Womack on last season’s The Bachelor?  She was ruled by her insecurities and I think if something doesn’t change we are going to see her ruin things again on this season’s The Bachelorette.  She is cute and energetic, sensitive and honest, but is she too insecure to find love?  It’s like a self fulfilling prophecy - she’s so afraid she will get hurt that she is fleeing from making a good connection with any of the guys.  I think she is using Bentley like a scapegoat - she is so obsessed with him - a guy she barely knows.  Bentley is unattainable and no longer a threat to hurt her again so she is directing her energies to Bentley’s ghost and avoiding what’s important.  She says she just needs closure, but I think all she needs is more security and self confidence.  I understand when a hurt comes out of nowhere, like the one Ashley got from Bentley, it causes a lot of confusion, but Ashley is being ridiculous.   Will Ashley’s insecurities ruin her chances at love?

Flashing an Abercrombie smile, the Bachelorette cameras catch Ames Brown lightly jogging across a Thailand bridge towards Ashley Hebert.  He on his way to his first one on one date, but looks more like he’s going to a photo shoot.   His royal blue shirt and crisp white shorts set him apart as the perfect candidate for Ashley.  Or maybe he’s just trying too hard?  We learn he’s traveled to 70 countries, likes to do things spontaneously and has a script of questions Ashley calls deep and interesting.  At dinner he told her somethings are beyond our control, a relationship is what you feel and when looking for a spouse their is no list.  In fact, he says it’s a major evolutionary step to throw the check list out.  He didn’t kiss her, but had a strong conversation to build a strong foundation.

Is Ames Brown acting a little too perfect?
